Giulio Confalonieri maked their studies in Switzerland, Germany, Italy and India. He Started as a graphic designer. Supported a variety of advertising posters for Pirelli, for Esso and the Milan Triennale. He worked also as a consultant and as art director for several magazines
In 1956 he founded CNPT together with Ilio Negri, Provinciali and Michele Pino Tovaglia.
He has received many awards, including the Bodoni of Parma, the gold medal at the XI and XV Triennale di Milano, and the diploma of honor Typomundus in New York "for outstanding contribution to the development of graphic art twentieth century".
Some of the works of Confalonieri are exhibited at the MoMA in New York, the Museum of Modern Art in Paris and the Museum of Modern Art in Vienna.
