On the occasion of Milan Design Week (April 17-22), the flagship store in via Durini becomes the theatre of events and exhibitions of cultural and artistic interest. Exactly in this location, in the Durini Design District, Nava will show the new collections in the presence of their own creators, important Italian and international designers who collaborate with the brand to create innovative products for urban users.
“The Shape of Design” is the event promoted by Nava that will be held tonight, Thursday, April 19 at 6 p.m. to celebrate design in all its forms: bags, accessories, watches and pens.
International appeal, clean shapes and aesthetic rigor define “Milano” line, designed for Nava by Naoto Fukasawa, who will take advantage of this opportunity to present the new items of the collection (backpack small, briefcase slim, tote, waist bag, mini bag, reporter, long jacket wallet, card case, credit card holder).
A touch of color will further enhance the shapes in a “special edition” of selected items designed specifically for the Design Week.
Great attention to the accessories with the new Nava watches. “Air” and “Enigma” watches, respectively designed by Ettore Giordano and Vincenzo Vinci and Alessandro Marzio and Eugenio Barra (Bibi Design Studio) play with hands and dials creating graphic effects and geometric shapes that mark the time. “Air” recalls the profile of an amphitheatre, rotated, revolutionized and closed on itself, while “Enigma” is inspired by the “Imbroglio” calendar of J.P. Vitrac.
The pen “Magnetica” by Giulio Iacchetti looks like a perfect aluminium cylinder interrupted only by a clip with a minimal and functional design. Its magnetic cap is positioned in an unusual way at the end of the pen’s body and moves towards the tip, securely closing it.
Special guests of the evening are the designers Naoto Fukasawa, Giulio Iacchetti, Ettore Giordano, Vincenzo Vinci, Alessandro Marzio Barra and Eugenio Barra.
Come and join us tonight, Thursday, April 19 at 6 p.m. in via Durini 2 / l.go Augusto.
