He was born in Milan on the 3rd of December 1923. Since 1946 he taught graphic design at the Castle’ Superior School of Arts and, then at Umanitaria in Milan; he also had a teaching post for the corporate image at the Superior School of Design. In 1954 he introduced, throughout a series of important announcements for Finmeccanica, the use of shade photography which won him the National Advertising Prize. In 1958 he won with the series Lanerossi the Gold Palm.
Important exhibitions were presented during Italy 61, and in particular during the “Tenore di Vita” review realized in collaboration with architect Marco Zanuso.
He realized Nebiolo, Ottagono, Alfa Romeo and Regione Lombardia brands. All the most famous graphic Italian and International magazines contain his works.
He died in Milan in 1977.
