Alessandro Sanna, born in 1975, lives and works in the province of Mantua. He illustrated books by David Grossman, Italo Calvino, Roberto Piumini, Gianni Rodari, Vivian Lamarque.
In 2009 he wins the Premio Andersen for 'Best illustrator'.
In 2007 it has been published for Corraini a unique book of art in co-edition with the Centre Pompidou of Paris: Mostra di pittura.
Since 2007 starts an important collaboration with Einaudi for whom he makes some covers, the catalogue and the la promotional image of the publishing house.
He works as an illustrator for Il Sole24ore, FABRIANO BOUTIQUES e FILA.
He holds training courses for teachers on creativity and laboratories of painting and drawing in the schools of all over Italy.
He takes part into collective exhibitions and realizes personal exhibitions.
